Health and Vaccination Programmes
Regular medical check-ups and vaccination programmes are conducted and detailed medical records of students are maintained once / twice a year (if needed) along with valuable suggestions by the doctors. Students are mentored on the various aspects of diseases (Health Education), first aid, life style, diet management techniques and stress management (aided with Yoga & Meditation). The students are also oriented about the importance of developing immunity.
Counseling Sessions
Psychologist is always there to observe, assess and resolve the psychological issues of the students. Proper counselling sessions are held for children identified with academic or emotional concerns.
Mutual and constant monitoring in sharing facilitates the smooth and natural development of our young learners.
Educational Tours
Educational Trips are the most prominent part of the pupil’s formative years as they are the source of knowledge as well as entertainment. For this, school discreetly organizes educational trips in every academic session to take learning beyond the four walls of the classroom.
A host of activities undertaken as a part of trips act as a catalyst for students to think out of the box with broaden horizons and to make them well versed in social ethics.
These trips are consciously planned to incorporate fun and enthusiasm and offers facilitators and learners a break from the hectic monotony of life.
Sports

Sports impart health and agility of mind in a practical manner on the playground. Besides this, sports inculcate a feeling of camaraderie, team spirit, sportsmanship and a sense of responsibility and accountability. To rejuvenate the same spirit students at APS enjoy a varied range of sports activities as they are the pre-requisite of sound mind and healthy thinking.

To furnish the same commitments school organizes numerous activities for all age groups as per academic calendar. These activities not only groom them but also make them proficient to withstand challenges by retaining the learning process for long term.
House System
An Innovative Start With Children
The house system reflects the core values which makes it an indispensable element for the ethos of the school. To ensure the same each student is assigned a House and competitions are conducted, during the year, on House basis. House once allotted is not changed. There are four houses Virjanand, Dayanand, Shradhanand and Vivekanand named after the eminent social reformers. Each house is headed by experienced House Chief. This segregation promotes unity, belongingness, pride and it also fosters school culture through a wide range of sporting and cultural activities.
These inter-house activities disseminate the fumes of positive competition and build an intimate rapport between students and teachers. They also develop leadership and pastoral skills at both junior and senior levels. Such golden opportunities are rare and if the pupils make optimum use of it, they can develop their personalities.
